2022 marks the 25th anniversary of the first ever Hecklers Comedy Club at the Westy
we've lived through a few wars, dodged the millennium bug, survived the pandemic - should be safe for another 25mic

Covid 19 Update

In line with the current Government guidance and restrictions, and local safety policies the West End Centre is open and Hecklers Comedy shows are running monthly.

In the slow gradual return to normality we have introduced some small changes to ensure everyone's safety, but still maintain the long standing appeal of top notch stand-up entertainment.

The auditorium has a slightly reduced capacity to allow more space to move around, and the interval is longer to avoid crowding in the bar and toilets. The staff are on hand to ensure everyone's safety and there's plenty of hand sanitiser on offer.

There is an earlier finish time with a shorter show which has been reflected in the discounted ticket price.

We have also introduced the option of live streaming tickets available for those who are not able to attend, or feel more comfortable enjoying the show remotely.

We are very much aware of how many shows were abandoned during the lockdowns, and how stress levels and mental wellbeing is affected by this. It is our belief that laughter is a great healer, and our mission is to continue spreading this and to up the ante to backfill the void.

We can promise that he long running trademark silliness will still be in place, albeit in a more socially distanced and safer fashion, and we are making up for those priceless lost shows.

Our pledge to continue programming some truly memorable shows and bringing the laughter to Aldershot remains, so stay safe and be nice to each other.
